PRAY - PUSH

Hey people!

I have an awesome testimonial to share!

For the past 4 years, i have been relying on my own strength in trying to bring my best friend of 11 years, cedric to church.

I never fail to invite him to church on big days, services,etc.
But, every time when its time for altar call; he will always reject going down and give lots of excuses. Many a times, i thought of giving up.

Recently, Pastor Tan taught us how to pray for the lost.
Pastor Kong also shared in the last service the importance of praying for the lost. So, I started to pray more fervently for my family and Cedric.

To be honest, i was pretty faithless.
I thought that 'praying for salvation for the lost' is meant for prayer warriors, definitely not me. In my heart, i was still doubting if by merely praying, things would change? In the end, i realized that was a wrong thinking.

Today, i was out with Cedric when we started to talked about Christianity and God. he started to ask me lots of questions and i tried my best to explain. After talking for more than 2 hrs, i asked him if he would allow Jesus into his heart. After contemplating(total silence) for nearly 5mins, he agreed!

I realized the atmosphere, his attitude was different. he was more open and is even willing to pray with me. So, I had the privilege of leading him in the sinner prayer.

Now, the only thing i did differently from the past is;
this time round i prayed more(in my quiet time).

Like what pastor tan say, we must learn to PUSH.
Pray Until Something Happen!

Everything happen for a reason, according to God's timing!
I hope my testimonial will encourage you to continue to reach out to your friends and loved ones!

Glory to God!

Love.
Ezekiel =)

I am so happy for you because of a breakthrough you have finally gotten by relying on God and no longer just on your ownself.
